Project Overview

A taller opening made the whole room feel larger.

This Cottonwood, Arizona project replaced the original 6-foot-8-inch French doors with an 8-foot-tall sliding glass door without widening the opening.

We raised and rebuilt the header, installed the new slider and screen, finished the interior with drywall bullnose, and painted the exterior trim to blend with the covered patio.

Result: More natural light, a cleaner view, and a stronger connection to the pool and patio.
